[Dovecot] can't login in pop3 accounts

With POP3 or IMAP, or either? What error does it give?

With verbose do you mean "auth_verbose = yes"? Then it should print
something to log every time a user tries to log in.

The config file looks ok, probably the error is somewhere else.
