Does the PID change or is it always the same? If it changes, it's
normal. If it doesn't, well, .. it shouldn't, but if it works it doesn't
really matter :)

In any case that part of code has been rewritten at least once since
0.99.x versions, and it will be rewritten once more before v1.0.
