[Dovecot] assertion failed: (fd >= 0)

Saw some messages before that Time wrote that the problem might be in 
the Dovecot.conf. What I changes was this:

  mechanisms = plain
  passdb passwd-file {
  args = /letc/deny.%Ls
  deny = yes
  }
  passdb pam {
  }
  userdb passwd {
  }
  user = root
}

Did I forget a '{' somewhere?
