We've got hundreds of happy Pine users.

Make sure you either a) remove the folder prefix (e.g. ~/mail) in your
folder collections or b) add ~/mail etc. as hidden namespaces in Dovecot
(see http://wiki.dovecot.org/MissingMailboxes and NameSpaces).
