[Dovecot] pop3 connections hanging

Thanks Scott,

I like the suggestion but I am a little worried about upgrading with 
minimum fuss.
Can I just install the latest version by stopping dovecot, installing 
the new version and restarting ? 

I checked on the main webpage and under 1.0.2 there does not seem to be 
any .rpms available so is my only choice the tarball ?
