[Dovecot] POP3/IMAP newbie question

It doesn't make a lot of sense to do it, but with your setting of 
mail_full_filesystem_access: yes you need to set the proper base directory in 
the pop3 mua. Also, when the pop client clears the inbox, it will be cleared 
for the imap login also.
