[Dovecot] Problem with MailServer Testing.

Hi,
I just set up two machine.One is installed with AntiSpam Quarantine
Management and Anti Spam components.
However, another machine is installed as Mail Server
(installed:OpenLDAP,pam,dovecot mail server,sendmail & squirrelmail).
Both machine can run now.
I want to do some testing now..i am using the client mail Netscape.
My question is:
1. how can i create a user and try to send a mail in and out? (to test
that the email server is working)
2.how can i test the antispam is working or not? (to test that wehther
the spam will go into the AntiSpam QUarantine Management

Hope to hear from your reply... As i am vry new to linux and antispam,
mail thingie....
