[Dovecot] DSync Namespace Frustration

In order to get dsync to work I need to set something in namespace. 
Running maildir. Will this work?

namespace private {
   separator = .
   prefix =
   inbox = yes
}

namespace private {
   separator = .
   prefix = INBOX.
   inbox = no
   hidden = yes
   list = no   # for v1.1+
}
