[Dovecot] I'm the ONLY user that can get mail

So youre sure the mail isn't being delivered to the users maildir? but 
you just can't access it with IMAP.
You can test authentication if using saslauthd by typing 'sudo 
testsaslauthd -u username -p password -s smtp'. Just some thoughts.
