Yes it does.

Before patch:

	Sep  9 08:46:43 popimap2 dovecot: auth: Error: ldap(user at example.co,192.168.11.16): ldap_bind() failed: No such object

after patch:

	Sep  9 08:50:50 popimap2 dovecot: auth: ldap(user at example.co,192.168.42.15): unknown user
