Not really. No error on SUBSCRIBE anymore, but it does not work
permanently:

0 lsub "" "*"
* LSUB () "." "INBOX.test.test2"
[... further entries ...]
0 OK Lsub completed.
0 subscribe "INBOX.gmail.[Gmail].Spam"
0 OK Subscribe completed.
                               <--- now subscriptions file includes
                                    "gmail.[Gmail]/Spam"
0 lsub "" "*"
* LSUB () "." "INBOX.test.test2"
[... further entries, but NOT INBOX.gmail.[Gmail].Spam ...]
0 OK Lsub completed.
                               <--- now the "gmail.[Gmail]/Spam" line is gone
                                    from subscriptions file again!

The same happens with INBOX.gmail.INBOX, so it's not the "[]" characters.
I have to test with debugging turned on later.
