[Dovecot] setting mail_home and vacation

mail_home should be set to the path to a directory, not a mailbox
location. You want just

    mail_home = /var/spool/vhosts/%d/%n

Dovecot is interpreting the initial 'mbox:' part as the start of a
relative path.
