[Dovecot] Time stamp or expire_stamp not updating to DATABASE table expires in mysql

Debian OS
Dovecot upgraded from 1.2 to 2.0.18
RoundCubeMail Web Client which uses imap to make connection
mysql-server-5.1 version =  5.1.61-0+squeeze1
RoundCubeMail = 0.7.2

As users delete mail in Roundcubemail the database timestamp not entered.   The database is blank

/var/log/dovecot.log shows no error


Do you know where I  can look to resolve this problem?
