[Dovecot] Where'd the Mail Go?

I'm sorry to tell you this is rather off-topic on the dovecot list,
since the mail is routed and delivered by your MTA.

In the logfiles of your MTA (mail transport agent) you should find
hints where the mail went. 

/var/log/postfix/...
/var/log/exim/...
