I don’t believe this is true, since I manually added:

> default_fields = home=/Library/Server/Mail/Data/mail/%u

to

> args = partition=/Library/Server/Mail/Config/dovecot/partition_map.conf enforce_quotas=no
> default_fields = home=/Library/Server/Mail/Data/mail/%u
> driver = od
> }


Before I added it, home was empty:
