This was probably fixed in http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-2.2/rev/1886e0616ab5 (and cosmetically in
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-2.2/rev/56dca338f46b). I can not say for sure though, since your report is lacking some details.
