In my installation I have

debian 7.6
dovecot 2.2.13
dovecot-antispamplugin VERSION=2.0

for this enviroment some users cannot get imap connections.

for others users imap connection is ok with antispam plugin working fine 
(antispam_backend = spool2dir)

To enable the imap connections for the unlucky users (with the previous 
error) I had to remove the anti spam plugin.

Does anybody is experiencing the same errors?
