rpm -qlv dovecot | grep libdovecot-sql

That should print out something like

lrwxrwxrwx    1 root    root                       23 Apr  1 03:29 
/usr/lib64/dovecot/libdovecot-sql.so.0 -> libdovecot-sql.so.0.0.0
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root    root                    95058 Apr  1 03:29 
/usr/lib64/dovecot/libdovecot-sql.so.0.0.0

If no libdovecot-sql.so is included, then SQL support is missing in that 
dovecot package.
