2.2 -git fails to compile as of Apr 28 2017

glibc - 2.24
gcc - 7.1 (but also failed to build with 6.3.0)

It was created by Dovecot configure 2.2.devel, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.69.  Invocation command line was

I have just tested this with 
https://www.dovecot.org/nightly/dovecot-latest.tar.gz (untar, and use 
the ./configure above) and I see the same behaviour.
