Thanks for the tip.

This means that if I now configure "mail_location=maildir:~/mail", I will need to move all mail folders ("." dot directories) including "new,cur,tmp" for the INBOX into the ~/mail direcotry of the specific user on the file system of the server?

Do I also need to move all the following files into ~/mail too?

- dovecot.*
- dovecot-*
- maildirsize
- subscriptions
