doveadm, userdb, and ssl=any-cert

Hello,
We have a server that answers userdb queries for Dovecot. As of 2.3.11 we’re finding that if proxying fields like `ssl=any-cert` are in a userdb response for doveadm, then doveadm complains about not recognizing that field, e.g.:
-----
doveadm(_mainaccount at xferme.tld): Error: User lookup failed: Invalid settings in userdb: Invalid userdb input 'ssl=any-cert': Invalid value: any-cert
doveadm(_mainaccount at xferme.tld): Warning: Event 0x55a3f911b9c0 leaked (parent=(nil)): mail-storage-service.c:1335
-----
We can avoid sending this field in response when doveadm is the requesting service, but was this apparent change in 2.3.11 intended?
Thank you!
cheers,
