Yes I did it.. what worries me is, that that instruction lsub "" * seems 
not to work.. I mean I am not allowed to see it

b lsub "" *
b NO [NOPERM] No permission to read subscriptions (0.001 + 0.000 secs).


So not sure that this is the fault of Thunderbird :-)
