will $h exspan to 127.0.0.1 ? only or localhost only ?, localhost is 
dual stacked, so try to avoid dualstack hostname from /etc/hosts make a 
ipv4.localhost alias in this file, and then use TCP ipv4.localhost 24 in

note i use postfix so maybe i am incorrect for the sendmail config with 
it, but it should stay at 127.0.0.1 for that dovecot server
