Broken links

Hello:

  We are using Single instance attachment storage (SIS).

  Recently we have updated to latest dovecot versión, and changed the storage system.

After the change, we are perceiving that, for some random users and days,  attachment links were not created. 
In some cases even the file itself is missing (we asume that this is because, if  there is 0 links pointing to the attachment, it gets deleted, or not
Created even).

There is anybody else experiencing the same issues?
Could it be caused from some bug?
Any hint?
