<p dir="auto">I have no need/desire to support anything google-related, so those concerns don't apply, but thanks for pointing them out.</p>

<p dir="auto">So is it just a matter of removing <code style="margin: 0; padding: 0 0.4em; border-radius: 3px; background-color: #F7F7F7;">pop3</code> from that list in the config file?</p>
