[Dovecot] dovecot 2.02 expire stopped working /sorry for the noise / Problem understanding faqs

my fault db gets updated when removing Timing like in the faq
it should be

plugin {
  expire = Trash
  expire2 = Trash/*
  expire3 = Spam
}

not
plugin {
  expire = Trash 1d
...


ok timestamps are now in the db, but what next

should
doveadm expunge -A mailbox Trash savedbefore 1d

etc now run from cron ?

i guess i have understanding problems here with the faq
