Ok... I were in doubt if I had missed something from the RFC.
However... for testing, I tried to create "INBOX.INBOX" on dovecot.
But then dovecot answers NO and complains that the folder already 
exists. Though it's still not on disk and dovecot still doesn't list it 
with "*".
