[Dovecot] Rebuilind help

Okay see if you can see what I am doing wrong?

 

Looking at the timestamp

[root at ns3 sbin]# ls -la /usr/local/sbin/dovecot 

-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 471186 Nov 13 18:25 /usr/local/sbin/dovecot

rebuilding

[root at ns3 sbin]# /root/dovecot-0.99.11/configure --sysconfdir=/etc
--localstatedir=/var

......

[root at ns3 sbin]# make

......

[root at ns3 sbin]# sudo make install

....

Looking at the timestamp

[root at ns3 sbin]# ls -la /usr/local/sbin/dovecot 

-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 471186 Nov 17 13:35 /usr/local/sbin/dovecot

 

 

The file was updated!

 

 

[root at ns3 dovecot-0.99.11]# /usr/local/sbin/dovecot

Fatal: Can't open configuration file /usr/local/etc/dovecot.conf: No such
file or directory

 

 

Any ideas on why it is looking in /usr/local?
