[Dovecot] 1.0-stable loses flag changes sometimes?

Is Eudora using a "real" Trash folder (local or remote), or is it a sort 
of virtual folder consisting of messages marked (in IMAP) as deleted?

Have you tried any mail clients other than Eudora?
