By the way:

You are using:

  #!/bin/bash
  MAIL_PLUGINS=${mail_plugins//imap_quota/}
  /usr/lib/dovecot/expire-tool $1

While "mail_plugins" in not defined and therefore empty it's the same
like:

  #!/bin/bash
  MAIL_PLUGINS=
  /usr/lib/dovecot/expire-tool $1

so you are not removing just imap_quota but your are removing _all_
plugins. Just for correctness :-)
