[Dovecot] Subscription to folders and subscription file

Doesn't sound right.. They should be equal always.

Try talking IMAP protocol and seeing if the subscriptions file you created is correct: http://wiki.dovecot.org/TestInstallation

Especially see that the LIST and LSUB output contains the mailbox names the same way. You can also use SUBSCRIBE and UNSUBSCRIBE commands to change the subscriptions.

No, it doesn't. With Maildir it's in "subscriptions" text file.

dovecot -n output might have been useful too.
