[Dovecot] Possible bug not sure on which end

Hello

    Serveral of our clients are running into a problem relating to 
Gmails change in their "Check mail from other accounts (using POP3):". 
It seems related to the response dovecot sends back on a connection.

Gmail is checking for a +OK in the header, however dovecot is sending OK 
without a prefix of +.

Here is the response from Gmail webmail
       "Missing +OK response upon connecting to the server: * OK 
[CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 LITERAL+ SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS ID ENABLE IDLE 
AUTH=PLAIN] Dovecot ready."

Here is dovecot header on a pop3-ssl connection
     * OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 LITERAL+ SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS ID 
ENABLE IDLE AUTH=PLAIN AUTH=LOGIN] Dovecot ready.


Who's end is this problem on? Google's, dovecots? Anyway to enable the 
response to include a +?
