If you do not change the mail storage format (Maildir -> dbox, or 
something like that), do not change 32bit -> 64bit, big / little endian 
a.s.o.

and if you make sure the old mailbox is not accessed, while you copy the 
data over,

it should work :-)

In fact, I use "rsync".
