does anyone else have this problem with connecting to dovecot (imap) via gmail app on Android, where after removing messages, they reappear shortly after? It happens seemingly randomly, not always.

Do you see this behaviour with non-Dovecot mailboxes as well? I’ve seen this behaviour before, and that was just the app itself being glitchy.
