Hello, I'm testing dovecot submission and I have some issues with Outlook clients. Thunderbird works without a hitch, only Outlook cannot send mails. If someone has seen this please let me know !
The log looks like this: Sep 28 09:36:12 mail dovecot: submission(user1)<1419><Ii0QSIVc2OvAqHBK>: Disconnected: Connection closed (unfinished QUIT command) (state=GREETING) in=44 out=81 Sep 28 09:37:23 mail dovecot: submission(user1)<4909><zOBITIVc6OfAqHBK>: Disconnected: Connection closed (unfinished QUIT command) (state=GREETING) in=44 out=81
My dovecot config has the following lines in local.conf:
submission_relay_host = 127.0.0.1 submission_relay_port = 174 submission_relay_trusted = yes
service submission-login { inet_listener submission { port = 587 }
inet_listener submissions { port = 465 ssl = yes } }

You could try https://doc.dovecot.org/2.4.5/core/config/submission.html#submission_client_... setting these one at a time and see if they help. Don't set them all, otherwise you don't know which one you actually need.

Than you. The solution was: submission_client_workarounds = whitespace-before-path Now the Outlook sends his mails, only the logs lines are not normal: Sep 28 09:53:03 mail dovecot: submission(user1)<44587><O+1KhIVcle/AqHBK>: Disconnected: Connection closed (unfinished QUIT command) (state=READY) in=14773 out=310 Sep 28 09:53:08 mail dovecot: submission(user2)<45038><FoaahIVcI9rAqHIe>: Disconnected: Connection closed (unfinished QUIT command) (state=READY) in=2436 out=94

You could try
[3]https://doc.dovecot.org/2.4.5/core/config/submission.html#submission_client_workarounds
setting these one at a time and see if they help. Don't set them all,
otherwise you don't know which one you actually need.

The most useful role for AI in academic writing is helping students recognize what needs further work. A clear outline, a focused thesis, and relevant evidence still require decisions that the writer must understand and defend.
I would approach any writing assistant with a specific task rather than a request to complete the entire assignment. Asking whether a paragraph supports the main argument, for example, gives students feedback they can evaluate against their readings and assignment instructions.
For anyone exploring this type of support, one option to examine is https://essaysbot.com/
Before using it for coursework, check the available features and your institution’s policy on AI assistance. Verify references independently, review suggested changes carefully, and keep your reasoning visible throughout the draft. The educational benefit comes from understanding each revision and developing a process you can apply independently to future assignments, especially when feedback from an instructor is not immediately available.
