[Dovecot] list command and shared folders

[Dovecot] Sieve doesn't appear to be active

I'm hoping that this isn't something stupid and that I'm not wasting bandwidth here, but I'm stuck and don't know any further ways of debugging this. And most non-documentation, end-user created info I find is for 1.0 with cmusieve. Running Dovecot 1.2.11 on Fedora Core 12. Added 'sieve' to 'mail_plugins'. Have enabled verbose logging with 'mail_debug = yes'. But I'm not seeing anything in the logs relating to sieve, and the sieve script I point to isn't being compiled (no .log file). Everything else works fine, this is a production system where I'm trying to add sieve support. What steps can I take to troubleshoot? Hi: When runs dovecot, I can see that dovecot sends two ldap queries to my OpenLDAP server and establishes one conection, however when test my dovecot-ldap configurarion with telnet My OpenLDAP server don't received ldap request from my clients. dovecot-auth process need special permissions?. my dovecot-ldap.conf file is wrong?. [Dovecot] passwd-file management utility

I'm now putting together tools/documentation to manage/administer the mail server, including, of course, managing users. Round one will be command line tools. In order to avoid re-invention, I was looking around for existing tools. I really cannot find any. So it seems I will be developing them. The first will be the one to manage users in the passwd-file format. So I'm just asking around if anyone has heard of such tools somewhere Google isn't finding (it does find lots of generic pages with the keywords used in other contexts). If not, I'll be building my own (and this will be for passwd-file format for the userdb/passdb),

I can compile the antispam plugin. Cause it compliajns about dovecot version. Does any one have other way of traing spam with spam assassin ? [Dovecot] Maildir + /var/mail

Hi, I have just switched to Maildir, and I have noticed something. Even though it works properly, I have noticed that a file named /var/mail/user with 0 bytes length is still created. Is this normal? I use sendmail+procmail+dovecot. I have also tried the combined procmail+deliver approach with the same results. I also use a global /etc/procmailrc. Thank you

Hi all, ok, I am updating to the 2.0 way of doing things and have managed to get everything set up right, except I am getting the following errors when attempting to use managesieve with our webmail client (roundcube) that I didnt get when using dovecot 1.2.11...
