You know, I was thinking: wouldn't it be nice to have RFC 4468 (Message Submission BURL Extension) support in dovecot? Maybe we should ask the guys from Apple to contribute some support for it, I have a gut feeling they would gladly do so ;) Kind regards -- Erik.

Hello, I have a strange problem with my first dovecot installation. I see this error massage in the logfile: Apr 9 10:42:44 mail2 dovecot: IMAP(admin(a)domain.tld): stat(/srv/mail/vmail/domain.tld/admin/.dovecot.lda-dupes/tmp) failed: Not a directory Why does dovecot thing that the “.dovecot.lda-dupes” file is a directory? [Dovecot] Slightly OT: iPhone & IMAP IDLE

Hi all, Does anybody know whether iPhone is supposed to be able to do IMAP IDLE? I know it does "Push" but that seems to be using Apple's Mobile Me and Exchange. Cheers, Sabahattin

Hello, I have a problem :(... I try to define User Quotas in Dovecot (in my DB mySQL) but default quotas (in my dovecot.conf) are always set for all users. I've defined default quota to 500M. I set 0 to one account in my DB but when i see my logs, this account have a 500M quota ! Could you help me ? [Dovecot] Trouble with managesieve symbolic link creation

[Dovecot] Sieve scripts

Hi I have a simple sieve script to discard email with a certain string in the subject. I now need to beef this up a bit with the following: if header :contains "subject" "A" and "B" and not "C" discard if header :contains "subject" "A" and "D" and not "C" discard else pass Maybe my google skills are failing but I can't find much info on creating sieve scripts. Can anyone point me in the right direction to achieve this please ? Hello, In Dovecot 2.0 the QUOTA capability is not announced until after the user has logged in. This breaks quota-support in some webmail clients (Roundcube, Atmail, probably more). After searching the lists, I see that this was fixed as a bug back in 1.0, but I guess it crept back in. :-) 1.0.7: * OK Dovecot ready. . [Dovecot] Shared folders in 2.0

Anyone using shared folders in 2.0? If so, would you care to share your configuration? I'm seeing all kinds of strangeness, and the only consistent thing so far is that my results are thoroughly inconsistent. There's a very good chance this is all because of my very limited experience with Dovecot, which is why I'd like to be able to start my experiments from a known good configuration. Anyone? Bob
