This bug causes a segfault when compiled against heimdal, but not MIT krb5. Either way, I think this code is correct. I have a problem Trying to connect with pop3 to my server with ipv4 it works great. But when I use ipv6 it doesn't want to work. One of our servers running Dovecot 1.0.beta3 and dovecot-lda has failed to deliver a few messages and I can't figure out why. Very few messages bounce and I don't see any common thread between them other than time. The 15:19:11 message was a company wide announcement and the other 4 servers (identical configuration) were able to deliver it. [Dovecot] Maildir Quotas

Hey guys, Does anyone have any ideas as to when this may be implemented? I'd love to be able to use dovecot, but without quota support, it just won't fit the bill. Is there any developer documentation as to what would be required to fully support maildir quotas as I'd be willing to help implement it assuming it's not going to take me weeks to become familiar enough with the codebase. Thanks

[Dovecot] using dovecot for postfix sasl

I have followed the Dovecot/Postfix/SASL howto, and modified the main.cf and dovecot.conf files, yet when trying to authenticate during a postfix SMTP session the log reports: "postfix/smtpd....warning: SASL authentication failure: Could not open db" Dovecot itself is authenticating IMAP logins correctly, and it is creating the auth file in the location specified under /var/spool/postfix/private. Why is postfix not able to get to the Dovecot auth mechanism? Thanks. Hugh

[Dovecot] Error "make install" of dovecot 1.0b3

I just downloaded dovecot 1.0b3 and running "make install" gives me an error This seems like a fairly simple bug in the Makefile ... but I'm not sure if maybe its a symptom of something more complex. I've tried "make uninstall" , "make install" and removing the entire /usr/local/lib/dovecot tree and same thing. dovecot does run ... but for other reasons I'm having problems getting it to work so thinking maybe this error could explain things System: Linux [root@lee dovecot-1.0.beta3]# uname -a Linux lee.calldei.com 2.6.11-1.27_FC3 #1 Tue May 17 20:27:37 EDT 2005 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux CPU: x86 Filesystem: standard linux fs. After setting up dovecot 1.0beta-2 on a debian(etch) system I can well login as local user but not vor virtual domains. [Dovecot] Sorting order after mail move

Hi, when I move some recent mail from some mbox folder into Maildir folder the moved email sorts as the first (on top) in the folder while it should be on the bottom with the rest of the recent emails in the folder. This happens only when moving from mbox folder to Maildir folder. I am not sure if it is really Dovecot bug or not but I suspect it could be so because it only happens in this one specific scenario.
