Hi I am trying to install Dovecot on HP-UX .I did ./configure but when I did make i am getting following error, please advice me what I have to do . uasng074@root# make No suffix list. make all-recursive No suffix list. [Dovecot] Possible to run two dovecot accessing same directory?

Hi, Just wonder if it's possible to run two dovecot servers on two different machines, but serve out of the same directories. I would like to test second dovecot server before switching from first one to second one. Any suggestions? Simon

[Dovecot] Sieve Vacation Auto-Reply Exclusions

The Dovecot Wiki is quite clear regarding its vacation auto-reply mechanism http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sieve and under what circumstances the automatic replies will NOT be sent. However, is it possible to manually add a list of envelope senders that the script will not respond to? Thank you, B. Bodger

Hi, I wish to setup a shared folder where everyone can read and copy. How does that work? Does each user get their own index file to determine weather a mail i read or not? can users move or copy mail? Thanks in advance Best regards - Jon

[Dovecot] Dovecot using more than one NIC

I'm am trying to run dovecot on a Fedora 6 Install with multiple IP's but Dovecot (POP3) seems to only function correctly on the 1st NIC/IP. It seems to be responding OK if you telnet to the 2nd or 3rd IPs, but Email clients timeout. >From dovecot.conf protocol pop3 { listen = *:110 } Any suggestions please? Andrew

Hi, I try to compile Dovecot with the *Ubuntu* patched sources but I got this error during the compilation: ./.libs/libsieve.a(script.o): In function `sieve_script_parse': /src/dovecot-1.0.rc17/dovecot-sieve/src/libsieve/script.c:140: undefined reference to `yylineno' ./.libs/libsieve.a(sieve.o): In function `sieveerror': /src/dovecot-1.0.rc17/dovecot-sieve/src/libsieve/sieve.y:568: undefined reference to `yylineno' I have bison-1.35, tried with flex but it's the same !? I would like to apply the ManageSieve server patch (http://dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2007-March/021130.html) I already send this mail on the Ubuntu list but don't got a reply. Hi, I'm testing Dovecot to migrate from my old Courier IMAP/POP server. It work fine but I have some problems to start the sieve server "pysieved" from Neale Pickett in PAM auth, I got the message: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/pysieved/pysieved.py", line 97, in <module> main() File "/usr/share/pysieved/pysieved.py", line 60, in main None, None, True) File "/usr/share/pysieved/auth/pam.py", line 22, in <module> import PAM ImportError: No module named PAM What's wrong ?
