Fatal: nfs flush requires mail_fsync=always

Hiya all, I'm seeing this "Fatal: nfs flush requires mail_fsync=always" error on my testbed. The issue is that from what I can see, mail_fsync is set to always : # doveconf -n | grep mail_fs mail_fsync = always The result is that the client does not connect at all, which is not really what I wanted to happen :) Any idea what is going wrong here? [BUG] dovecot 2.3.0 - service(lmtp) killed with signal 11 when user is overquota

Hi, I'm using dovecot 2.3.0 installed on a new CentOS 7.4 with rpm from Dovecot repo. Replication configuration

Hello, I am trying to configure replication between two servers, for only specified virtual users, without success of course :) I am using LDAP for accounting. I have tried to pass a file with list like this: replication_dsync_parameters = -d -N -l 30 -U -F /etc/dovecot/list I have even tried to specify users with LDAP filter: iterate_filter = (|(uid=user1)(uid=user2)) both without success... But replicator every 5 minutes tries to replicate all users. I want this mainly for testing (i am preparing to server migration) and for bigger control who and when will be replicated/transferred. Submission/SMTP proxy server

Sorry if this seems elementary - but a question on implementation/usage/purpose of this. My understanding is at this time the SMTP proxy server is only that - it does not implement any further functionality. So its availability now is purely for testing purposes. Is that accurate? I secondly assume that this intended for trusted clients only - so this is not intended for processing email submitted via port 25. And thirdly - if a separate firewall/anti-spam/virus/authentication service is run outside of the MTA (like ASSP) then the Dovecot proxy should be inserted between that and the final MTA? -- Daniel

doveadm mailbox command fails if backend has an IPv6 address

Hi, some of my maintenance scripts weren't working as expected and I finally found that this only happens if the user was mapped to a backend server reachable via IPv6: On a director: doveadm mailbox status -u username messages Junk returns Junk messages=203 (if backend is connected via IPv4) or Lookup of host ipv6addr:542 failed: ... (if backend is connected via IPv6) doveadm_tcp_connect_port tried a net_gethostbyname with "ipv6addr:542" as hostname. Duplicate mail id issue, mailbox does not exist when dovecot tries to generate a new guid so replication can take place

Hi all, When we run the below one user constantly shows as failed (dovecot version is 2.2.13): sudo doveadm replicator status "*" mail.log shows the below for the user: Jan 3 16:20:57 hostname dovecot: dsync-server(user): Error: Duplicate mailbox GUID <guid number> for mailboxes <mailbox name.sub folder> and <mailbox name.sub folder> - giving a new GUID <guid number> to <mailbox name.subfolder> Jan 3 16:20:57 hostname dovecot: dsync-server(user): Error: Couldn't update mailbox <sub folder name> GUID: Mailbox doesn't exist: <sub folder name> Looking at their mailbox the folder does exist.
