Hi all, Dovecot with the "new Sieve" works fine, but 1 - how to have a global script AND 1 script per virtual maibox ? 2 - how to allow a user to change this script (from Thunderbird or Outlook) Thanks JM

I use mbox with mbox-snarf plugin. I get errors like: dovecot: IMAP(testuser): Corrupted index cache file /full/path/ dovecot.index.cache: record points outside file The errors can be in either folders or INBOX. I put some syslog statements in src/lib-index/mail-cache-lookup.c to help understand this. if (offset + sizeof(*rec) > cache->mmap_length) { mail_cache_set_corrupted(cache, "record points outside file"); syslog(LOG_DEBUG,"mail_cache_get_record rec->size is %d ", rec->size); syslog(LOG_DEBUG,"cache->mmap_length is %d ", cache- >mmap_length); syslog(LOG_DEBUG,"offset is %d ", offset); return -1; } syslog: mail_cache_get_record rec->size is 268595472 syslog: cache->mmap_length is 4096 syslog: offset is 1630760037 Oh I forgot to print off sizeof(*rec). I've temporarily got SELinux set to permissive mode on a fresh install on CentOS 5. It was blocking Dovecot's access to ~/mail because the files were labeled file_t. What's the correct way to label these?

Hi, Wondering if anyone could give some indication as to where to look for the cause of the following error messages. These error messages seem to occur at about the time when users are having problems logging in. [Dovecot] Resync quota to mysql script

I changed some quota options in my dovecot config (eg. excluded folders) but afaik this only affects new mail and there is no magic command to recalculate the quota (or is there?). So I wrote this little python script to do this, maybe someone finds it useful. It can output the sql statements (dovecot 1.0/1.1 and 1.2 format) or just print out quota usage to console.
