[Dovecot] Fedora Core 4 and certificates
by Kenneth Porter 13 Jun '05

13 Jun '05

This is a heads-up that certificates will be moving to a new location in FC4. See section 6.2.3.1 in the release notes: <http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/release-notes/fc4/errata/>

[Dovecot] Problem with configure.in in dovecot-stable CVS
by Brian T Glenn 09 Jun '05

09 Jun '05

I am having trouble with using dovecot-stable from CVS. I get the following error when running autogen.sh: configure.in: 4: required file `./[config.h].in' not found I see the config.h.in file in the root dir, but I cannot figure out what the brackets are for. If I modify the file and remove the brackets, it works properly and I can compile dovecot. What are the brackets in the name for? Am I breaking something by removing them? Thanks, -- Brian T Glenn delink.net Internet Services

[Dovecot] blank line at the top of mbox
by Chris Barnes 08 Jun '05

08 Jun '05

On Sat, Mar 13, 2004, somone posted a note which read: It seems dovecop pop3 server sometimes inserts a blank line at the top of the mbox. It only happens for certain users not all. I'm not sure why it's doing that. Looking back into the mailing list, I saw the same post in Oct 6, 2003 but there was no reply to it. Is there a patch or fix that i can use to get around the blank line? I did not see any replies to this post. I am having the same issue... + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Chris Barnes AOL IM: CNBarnes chris(a)txbarnes.com (also MSN IM) Yahoo IM: chrisnbarnes

[Dovecot] maildirmake
by Renzetti Federico 08 Jun '05

08 Jun '05

It is possibile to call maildirmake at login-time? My final goal is to create maildir at login time (like courier-imapd) or at least to create .INBOX.Trash, .INBOX.Drafts, .INBOX.Sent dir for virtual user /home/vmail/domains/$virtual_domain/$virtual_user/ .... with already exsistant Maildir (created by postfix) Thanks in advance

[Dovecot] Dovecot development status v1.0
by Raymond Lillard 08 Jun '05

Timo, Regarding: http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2005-January/006144.html I would like an estimate of where you are on the path to a released (dovecot-1.0). I have read your statement regarding the -stable series and am wondering when we see the first feature complete -beta of v1.0? Thank for your hard efforts. I have been a happy customer for about a year. Ray
