Hi guys, I'm looking at the possibility of running a pair of servers with Dovecot LDA/imap/pop3 using internal drives with DRBD and GFS (or other clustered FS) for the mail storage and ext3 for the root drive. I'm currently using maildrop for delivery and Dovecot imap/pop3 with the stores over NFS. I'm looking for better performance but still keeping the HA element I have now with shared storage over NFS. Has anyone had experience with a setup like the one I'm suggesting? What was performance like with Dovecot using GFS? Thanks Guy -- Don't just do something...sit there!

[Dovecot] fts_squat + virtual => crash

Hi, dovecot's imap process segfaults when I search a virtual mailbox using the fts_squat plugin. Is this supposed to work, or a known bug? If you want to run Dovecot on Debian Lenny for a Production System (with Fast Upgrade System for Security Patches), What would you recommend? [Dovecot] Index cache file problems in Dovecot 1.2.0

I've been seeing lots of index cache file errors (using mbox on Solaris 8 sparc 64-bit, but with 32-bit Dovecot) since I switched my account to Dovecot 1.2.0 (we're still on 1.0.15 mostly, but I'm hoping to upgrade to 1.1.17+ this summer, or 1.2.x if it's stable enough). e.g. Error: Corrupted index cache file <path>/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index.cache: field index too large (47 >= 25) I've tried renaming/removing the .imap/INBOX directory, but the "Corrupted index cache file" errors return within a day or so. Hi Timo, the preconditions was: a dbox converted (convert-tool) from Maildir contents of dbox/mailboxes/INBOX/dbox-Mails was: - dovecot.index.log [64876 bytes] - dovecot-uidlist [167280 bytes] - 3237 mails I've started mutt to see the mails. Mutt lost the connection immediately. Hello list, My question: is sieve support some kind of "continue" action, to explicit tell server processing rules below current one(if current has triged)? Situation: I have few rules, which fileinto's to different directories. All is working fine, but if I want redirect all my mail for some period of time to another mailbox, I'm adding rule like this, to be processing first. if anyof (true) { redirect "koshikov(a)gmail.com"; keep; } Mail redirecting, but keep state store messages to INBOX. All I want - to process other rules, which will move message to the right imap directory. This situation also happens with vacation sieve-action. In sieve rfc I didn't find any workaround to that actions. Maybe someone know how to make sieve working in described way?
