[Dovecot] Trouble with managesieve symbolic link creation

Hi, I've been trying to get managesieve to work on our installation, but although almost everything works fine the symbolic link from .dovecot.sieve to the sieve dir gets created with a / in the beginning: drwx------ 4 vmail users 128 2010-04-08 18:35 . drwxr-xr-x 5 vmail users 144 2009-08-28 18:26 .. lrwxrwxrwx 1 vmail users 17 2010-04-08 18:35 .dovecot.sieve -> /sieve/ingo.sieve drwx------ 20 vmail users 952 2010-04-08 16:47 maildir drwx------ 3 vmail users 104 2010-04-08 18:35 sieve Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? [Dovecot] Sieve scripts

Hi I have a simple sieve script to discard email with a certain string in the subject. I now need to beef this up a bit with the following: if header :contains "subject" "A" and "B" and not "C" discard if header :contains "subject" "A" and "D" and not "C" discard else pass Maybe my google skills are failing but I can't find much info on creating sieve scripts. Can anyone point me in the right direction to achieve this please ? Hello, In Dovecot 2.0 the QUOTA capability is not announced until after the user has logged in. This breaks quota-support in some webmail clients (Roundcube, Atmail, probably more). After searching the lists, I see that this was fixed as a bug back in 1.0, but I guess it crept back in. :-) 1.0.7: * OK Dovecot ready. . Anyone using shared folders in 2.0? If so, would you care to share your configuration? I'm seeing all kinds of strangeness, and the only consistent thing so far is that my results are thoroughly inconsistent. There's a very good chance this is all because of my very limited experience with Dovecot, which is why I'd like to be able to start my experiments from a known good configuration. Anyone? Bob

Hi, im in the process of setting up a virtual domain next to a real one with dovecot and postfix. Hello, I have to take two copy of incoming mails on different servers(local & remote). I am using plain server without any panel on it and using sendmail, pop3 server Dovecot. Is there a way(any configurations) to take a remote backup for all incoming mails? except configuring forwarder to each mail ID !!!! Waiting for suggestions. [Dovecot] Manage mails from server

I've configure Dovecot with shared namespace and IMAP ACL's to make a group mailboxes. I use maildir mailboxes, and I add dovecot-shared file to each group mailbox. So each user with access to group mailbox has their own \Seen flag. And now I need automatically delete a mail from server after 2 weeks after each user has readed email in shared mailbox. How can I from, e.g. Perl script, get \Seen flag for user and mail and then correctly delete a mail from a server? I need to create fully automatical mail system, maybe there is some HOW-TO's or examples anywhere? And will I can in 2.0 use per-user \Deleted flag, not only \Seen?
