Hi, I'm trying to set up dovecot together with postfix and experience some problems. Here's in details what I have and what I want to get. I have a ldap server on localhost, a working setup of dovecot to serve sasl, imap using ldap, a working setup of Postfix for (s)smtp (I can authenticate which uses dovecot's sasl). Hi, I was wondering if I can make sendmail use dovecot's SASL implementation...maybe I should somehow compile it against dovecot's SASL ? My idea is to make sendmail and dovecot authenticate against one central user/password repository. Is this possible ? thank you. P.S. I want to use virtual users

[Dovecot] multiple sql servers - loadbalancing and failover

Hi, Is there a way for dovecot to use a pool of sql (mysql) servers and load balance queries between these? Also fallback to next available sql server if connection to previous one fails.
