Dovecot is looking for .dovecot.lda-dupes in the wrong place

Hi, I just moved the dovecot maildir location for all virtual users to another location. I moved everything from /var/mail/vhosts/%d/%n to /var/vmail/%d/%n/maildir Everything seem to be fine except of one recurring error: Sep 2 10:16:09 mx0 dovecot: lmtp(13226, sv_bogies(a)neurohr.at) Error: file_dotlock_open(/var/mail/vhosts/domain.at/michael/.dovecot.lda-dupes) failed: No such file or directory Sep 2 13:31:27 mx0 dovecot: lmtp(16248, sv_bogies(a)neurohr.at) Error: file_dotlock_open(/var/mail/vhosts/domain.at/michael/.dovecot.lda-dupes) failed: No such file or directory So Dovecot is looking in the old path. How can I fix that? Trouble viewing Inbox via IMAP Client

Hello, I have been having trouble with this issue for quite some time now. Here is my environment: CentOS 6.5, Postfix built with PGSQL support, PFA, and dovecot. The problem I am having is that I can send and receive mail fine, but when I try to view my Inbox in an IMAP client like Thunderbird, I can only view sent mail and trash. dsync-server couldn't create .dovecot-sync.lock file

My dovecot stores users' emails on /var/spool/imap/<user> and stores the messages index on /var/lib/imap/<user>. I have many users who do not yet have their userdb_home directories created on the server, because that is created at the time of first login. I'm testing dsync for replication and have seen the following error: dsync-server(<user>): Error: Couldn't create lock /var/lib/imap/<user>/.dovecot-sync.lock: No such file or directory The /var/lib/imap/<user> directory does not exist yet and I think this is the cause. mail_location hashing & lowercasing?

Need help to compile and install a minimal dovecot imap plugin

I am trying to create a plugin that adds a new IMAP capability. Hi, Is it noted somewhere that Dovecot (v 2.0.9) doesn’t use case in directory names in its config-files? I found that out the hard way (i.e. a week of debugging)!! in /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-master.conf, the line: unix_listener /var/spool/postOut/auth/dovecot-auth { creates a: Jul 29 22:15:58 server dovecot: master: Error: service(auth): unlink(/var/run/dovecot/) failed: Is a directory but unix_listener /var/spool/postout/auth/dovecot-auth { works just fine (with matching case changes on the directory names themselves). That’s on running on Ubuntu 12.04.4 TLS, standard installation from apt-get, in cooperation with Postfix 2.0.9. — Hugo

Hello, I tried to implement Dsync (doveadm version 2.2.10) following https://www.evilcoder.org/2014/08/22/automatic-replication-with-dovecot/ but had no luck. SSH commands working quite well, but I need to respond more quickly. So TCP looks promising. I have Centos 6, Dovecot 2.2.10. I did everything that is written there, but after I restart dovecot doesn't sync. Then i ran netstat command but no service listen to port 12345 also. Iptables service are of in testing scenario...
