[Dovecot] Valid config for lda_mailbox_autosubscribe with dovecot 1.2?

Hi, Due to some reasons I've to support both dovecot 1.2 and dovecot 2.x, and I just found that the -s parameter I used to autosubscribe to sieve folders doesn't exist anymore in dovecot 2.x The problem arises because (AFAIK) in postfix's master.cf you can only specify one configuration, and I used to have this: dovecot unix - n n - - pipe flags=DRhu user=vmail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -f ${sender} -d ${recipient} -s Is there any way to make the config compatible for both versions, achieving the autosubscribe and not crashing dovecot?

[Dovecot] Running sieve manually

I would like use sieve to split up my saved mail into different folders. I have tried to find out how to do that, but failed. The IMAP server is dovecot 1.2.15 on ubuntu 11.04. [Dovecot] Berkeley DB with Dovecot

I have a friend who is preparing to set up a small Postfix/Dovecot mail system. There are only approximately 25 users. He wants to use Berkeley DB in a similar fashion to the way Postfix does. I told him I do not believe Dovecot supports that. I could not find any documentation relating to it. 1) Does Dovecot support Berkeley DB? 2) Are their any plans to incorporate that feature into Dovecot? It seems like it could potentially be a very useful feature. Hi, I'd like to keep all emails coming from alom-alert@anydomain and not forward those but rest of the emails will be kept and forwarded as well. I put following in the .dovecot.sieve if header :contains "Sender" "alom-alert@" { keep; if not header :contains "Sender" "alom-alert@" { redirect "my@emailid on server"; redirect "xyz(a)gmail.com"; redirect "abc(a)tbc.edu"; stop; } } Is this correct? [Dovecot] dovecot fts_lucene indexes not being updated

Hi everyone, I have a dovecot 2.1.6 setup with fts_lucene. The lucene indexes get created/updated fine when I do a manual search thru telnet. However, if I run a webapp that uses the php::imap_search function, the index never gets created/updated. I run indo the same problem with thunderbird and full-body search. Anyone has some insight into this? Regards, -Joe

[Dovecot] Maildir - Need script to delete old unread messages

Trying to clean out old undead messages from users to reduce disk space. Need a script that will recurse all the user directories and delete all unread email that is over 90 days old. Anyone have that?
