Hi, I'd like to share the whole INBOX of one user with another. Hi, I have an OpenSMTPD / Dovecot installation on an OpenBSD server. I recently came across an issue where Dovecot LMTP would reject a message sent to a local user from an address which contains a single apostrophe (e.g. firstname.o'lastname(a)example.com) Apparently apostrophe, as well as a number of other special characters, are valid characters in the local part of the email address (that's everything to the left of the @ character). Problem syncing e-mails with Outlook

Hello all, I am running dovecot- 2.3.5.2 with mdbox storage. I deleted the dovecot.index* from all my folders, which led to mails not being displayed. I rebuilt the indexes for all the users after that, using: doveadm force-resync -u user@domain "*" However, the problem now is that Outlook,configured for IMAP, is not able to sync the mails with the server. I'm using mdbox. What's the consequence of deleting dovecot.index.* from all folders? All mail gets lost or I can rebuild the indexes and get the mails?

mailbox encryption

Hello, I've got dovecot 2.3 going, and I've got a file 10-mailcrypt.conf which is loading mail_crypt, thinking that that plugin would propagate through all the services, sieve, lmtp, and mailbox message storage. I'm not seeing anything in the logs indicating that the encryption is happening. I am using a file format dbox specifically sdbox format, and in my mailbox I am seeing files like u.5 and others, a file check on them reveals them as data. Should I be seeing encryption in the logs? LDA vs LMTP change in header

Switching to dovecot LMTP appears to have change the information in the received header, which appears to be causing my spam filter to wig out and mark local to local emails as spam.
