My gdb won't cooperate and produce a backtrace so I hope this dbx stack trace gives sufficient clues as to why it crashed. As of 2.0.12, looks like NONEXISTENT response code isn't working properly again. [Dovecot] Encoding dovecot keywords

Hello. If mailbox name include non latin chars, dovecot save it encode to modification UTF-7. Example "тест" convert to "&BEIENQQ6BEEEQg-". If replace & to + I can decode it: <?php $str = '+BEIENQQ6BEEEQg-'; echo iconv('UTF-7', 'UTF-8', $str); ?> But I can't understand what encoding use dovecot for keywords? I set "тест" (number 5) keyword: cat dovecot-keywords 0 &bcienqrbbeiepgqybdaetw-_&bdwenqrcbdoema- 1 test 2 $label1 3 $label2 4 $label3 5 &beienqq6beeeqg- but "&beienqq6beeeqg-" do not convert to "тест". Why?

"Choosing the IMAP sent folder as account's sent items folder" is not working. That was the problem. But I fixed the problem using a "copy on send" rule. hi! In table I see this: | papp.tamas(a)center.hu | 118671994 | 20437 | du -sm says, the size of the maildir is 154M. I use xfs. I can't figure out, why is there a difference. Can you help me out? Thank you, tamas

[Dovecot] calling dovecot exported auth from Java

As far as I have been able to figure out, dovecot auth always works over a Unix domain socket. I believe it is not currently possible to operate dovecot auth over an Internet domain (TCP) socket. Am I correct? I want to call dovecot's exported authentication from a Java application. Java doesn't natively know how to talk to a Unix domain socket, so there are inconveniences. There are 3rd party JNI libraries to allow Java to do it, but I'm not too wild about the idea of using JNI. My current thinking is to rig up some kind of proxy/shuttle arrangement between a localhost TCP port and the dovecot auth Unix domain socket in the filesystem. I'm looking at using the more or less standard tool "socat" to do that. ('m on a mainstream Linux distribution.) Has anyone else confronted and solved this problem? Do tell us the details .... :-) TIA!

Hello, I'm currently packaging dovecot 2.0.3 under Mandriva Linux. It has been using LDFLAGS="-Wl,--as-needed -Wl,--no-undefined" for shared libraries for over two years[1]. And I've found there are lots of linking problems with dovecot 2.0.3.
