Hi, Been having a look at the roadmap on the wiki for Dovecot 2.0 and I was wondering how that's progressing? Are you able to offer a guesstimate on how far it is from stable Timo? Just asking because we're moving to new servers soon and I'm considering using the opportunity to switch from Dovecot/Maildrop/Maildir to Dovecot/deliver/mdbox if 2.0 is likely to be reasonably safe to use in the next month or so. Hi In http://wiki.dovecot.org/Variables I found: %s service imap, pop3, smtp, deliver and that can be use in userdb and SQL query string. How exactly can I use %s in the query string if I want for ex to disable a service (just one service - ex pop3) for a specific user. Alex

[Dovecot] Dinamic 'mail_location' for each user

Hello, I have a lot of domains in a mail server, so I make a balanced allocation of mailboxes in the storage disks. That improves performance of access to records. Therefore, I want to overwrite 'mail_location' directive for each user. But I also want to use the modifier 'H' to spray the mailboxes of the same partition in a hash. Then, each user has your own 'mail_location' that I would like load from database. Like this: mdbox:/var/spool/imap/partition1/%256HRu/%u:INDEX=/var/lib/imap/user/% 256HRu/%u partition1 is in range [partition1 .. partiton7] In my tests the '%256HRu/%u' kind of 'mail_location' is not being interpreted by Dovecot. [Dovecot] namespaces

Hello, i have an issue with vpopmail, this created a sub folder named "0" and all the new users created inside this folder into the domain folder. Weel i don understand why vpopmail do that, but i want to know if the option in dovecot.conf namespaces i can make it to search the Maildir in both directories. name domain/user & name domain/0/name user. CAn you help me??? Any options.

[Dovecot] Login process connection routing

Timo, Just out of curiosity, how are incoming connections routed to login processes when run with: service imap-login { service_count = 0 } I've been playing with this on our test director, and the process connection counts look somewhat unbalanced. I'm wondering if there are any performance issues with having a single process handle so many connections. I've got a couple more issues with the doveadm director interface: 1) If I use "doveadm director remove" to disable a host with active users, the director seems to lose track of users mapped to that host. I guess I would expect it to tear down any active sessions by killing the login proxies, like I'd done 'doveadm direct add HOSTNAME 0 && doveadm director flush HOSTNAME' before removing it?
